Q1: How long will the quotation take?
A1: Basically, we respond within 24H when receive the RFQ. If the quote is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible

Q2: What type of files could be used when quoting?
A2: We can accept 3D CAD files in STL, STEP ,Solid work or IGES format. 2D drawings.
And please note 2D drawing only could be quoted in a rough price.

Q3: How many kinds of surface finishes does First Part provide?
A3: First Part China Limited offers a lot of finishing services to achieve client’s requirement.
Such as anodizing, painting, powder coating, plated and so on.

Q4: Are lead times in working days or calendar days?
A4: Lead times in working days, and basically we work 6 days in a week.
If you project is urgently, we can arrange to work overtime on Sunday if needed.

Q5: Can First Part China Limited achieve the critical tolerances?
A5: Yes, we can. But basically the tolerance depends on a number of factors, such as part’s size, design geometry, surface finish. It would be better if you can specify which areas in your design have critical tolerances , so we can discuss which based on our technology.

Q6: What are First Part China Limited shipping terms?
A6: Our standard terms are Ex Works. But as for express shipments(UPS ,DHL,FedEx), we use Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), that mean the client is responsible for paying import duty when the goods arrived.

Q7: Can I get credit with First Part China Limited?
A7: For the prototyping, basically the new client need to pay in advanced for the first 5 orders then start the production. After that we will consider paying before shipment
But as for the tooling orders , it require a 50% deposit in advance, and the balance must be paid after T1 samples were approved.

Q8: How can I pay First Part China Limited?
A8: Now we accept bank to bank wire transfer only.

Q9: How quickly can I get my prototype?
A9: It is depend on the part’s tolerance, structure or other special features. It would be better if you can send us your project then give you a more accurate lead times.
As for the shipping , basically it will take about 3-4 working days from China to Europe, 1-2 working days to USA if via air shipment.

Q10: Can First Part create the CAD model for me
A10: We do not offer any design services, and 2D drawing only for quoting , we need a CAD model when start the production.

Q11: Can I use my own material to arrange the production?
A11: We accept customer-supplied material for machining if it fits with our machine capabilities.

Q12: Will my design be protected?
A12: Indeed, A non disclosure agreement “NDA” would be arranged at the beginning

Q13: Can First Part make a optical quality for the plastic parts?
A13: Yes, we can offer vapor polishing or hand polishing for your clear plastic part.

Q14: What is the advantage of First Part which compare to other suppliers.
A14: First Part China Limited have our own machine which could make directly from the client’s drawing, and provide the one-step service for all the after treatment ,such as the anodizing ,painting , powder coating and so on.
