The effect of the Coronavirus has on many fronts halted the spin of the world. Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen the world unite in the fight against the pandemic. Several people, organizations and businesses alike have given out in cash, kind and emotions. And as part of our efforts in making the global community a safer place, Firstpart has decided to join in the fight against COVID-19.
Our grassroot efforts have begun. We are already working with a number of organizations and health specialists to deliver innovative solutions on how to produce and make available the most basic of apparatus. From test kids to nasal swabs, face guard and other PPE, Firstpart is collaborating and inviting health specialists looking to innovate to use 3D printing to tackle shortage and ensuring availability of these items locally and internationally.
The level of technology available at our manufacturing hubs means that we can help ailing countries with rapid manufacturing and weld the broken links in their supply chain. With 3D printing, Firstpart can leverage speed and low cost to help the world react to supply-side shocks, demand peaks and logistic challenges. Our initiative to collaborate, outsource, contract and be contracted by major players in the medical hardware and equipment industry is one that reflects how concerned we are about the pandemic and its high-hitting effects in all corners of the world. This is why we need to work together, practice social distancing, stay home, innovate, donate and collaborate with the frontliners in the battle against COVID-19.
How can you help us save the world?
The fight against COVID-19 is a joint effort. Even with the advancements of 3D printing and CNC machining, it would be very tasking to produce ventilators for every single person in adequate time. Joining forces with us and linking our establishment to key communities, organizations and governments can effect change on a larger scale. Here’s how you can help us make a change around the world:
Recommending High impact initiatives
One of the ways we can collaborate for bigger change is to work along high impact projects. We are currently looking within our networks and exploring how our clients can help us make reasonable connections with foundations, organizations and enterprises who are looking to manufacture, innovate and distribute medical supplies, PPE and safety items that will deliver significant change in the battle against COVID-19. If you know someone, a business, foundation or organization with whom we can collaborate to develop, enhance or even fast track the production of medical aid such as face masks, ventilators, sanitizer bottles, test kits and more, now is the time to reach out to us.
Recommending Expert partnerships
At Firstpart, manufacturing is our core. Even with our plentiful experience working with medical engineers, we simply cannot achieve breakthrough in the COVID-19 pandemic all by ourselves. This is why we are calling on all medical engineers, biologists, doctors, pharmacists, genetical experts, virologists, microbiologist and experts in the medical field to with us in exploring new ideas. The speed and rapid prototyping that is available through 3D printing can aid the world greatly as we can all get to iterate solution design, test the concept and make physical prototypes in a matter of hours!
Sharing our initiatives with your network
Our experts are working tirelessly to help our clients in the medical field explore solutions, replenish shortages, produce critical PPE, medical swabs, face masks and more. If you have a great idea that you think we can leverage into a high-impact solution for the global community, please reach out to us at [email protected]
We sympathize with everyone who has directly or indirectly been affected by the pandemic. Our efforts to find a solution does not lie on scientists and bioengineers alone. Help us see where we, as product manufacturers with significant manufacturing tech such as CNC machining and FDM 3D printing can help.
Spread the world and aid collaboration.
Till next time,
Regards from all of us at Firstpart.
